I'm updating my first review for The Chef's Table, as we've visited several more times since. Last night we went during the Londonlicious promotion. As always, the food and service were excellent. For $40 the Londonlicious menu offers several choices of appetizer, main, and dessert. The regular menu is also available. The only problem is trying to decide what to order! Dinner for two, with a glass of wine each, was less than $110 with taxes and tip. I'd recommend this place to anyone - check beforehand as they do close sometimes based on the academic calendar, and they're only open weekdays. Note - the photos are a collection from some of our visits - not all from one meal ;-)

Plated beautifully but tasted even better. I don't focus on service as I let the food speak for itself. However, the service was also great. All the food was served at the perfect temperature. Went to dinner for two during Londonlicious. Appetizers were Caesar salad and soup of the day. Main courses were roasted chicken supreme and trout en papillote. Desserts were carrot cake and flourless chocolate cake. The soup of the day was amazing. Whoever created the pear, parsnip and beetroot combination deserves credit. The bowl was completely clean. Caesar salad was typical, it had some cornbread pieces that tasted better with the soup. Both mains were great. The white meat with the slightly charred chicken skin dipped in the umami-rich sauce was the best bite of the night. The trout had a great sauce with butter, capers and fried garlic. Both dishes had their own version of a vegetable lasagna. I don't like carrot cake but I can tell it was a good carrot cake. The complimentary bread was so fluffy. It didn't need the butter as the it was flavoured perfectly.

Great place and delicious meal! It's a teaching environment so remember to tell them of any allergies! I forgot to mention my allergy to coconut as generally it's listed as an ingredient and the sticky toffee pudding had it hidden under the ice cream. Otherwise everything was absolutely delicious!

Stopped in here last night for the 3 course londonlicious menu. Had the steak, Caesar salad and dessert. And we tried the app of the day. This restaurant is run by fanshawe college students, as part of their hospitality courses so extra effort is put into everything. Everything was amazing, top notch quality ingredients, prepared perfectly and presented well. Service was fantastic. If you haven't tried this place you gotta get there!

We went last night and the food was superb. Massive servings. All the staff are learning so are very attentive and did a great job. Probably the cheapest high quality food you’ll find in London. Have to order by 8pm, small wine list, but totally worth it. Check it out!!

I had such a nice dinner here! My meal was Gluten-free and they took great care to ensure my meal was safe. The risotto was amazing and the chicken tender and juicy! Staff (the students) are super friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back!
